FAQ / PURCHASE QUESTIONS

Useful answers before a service call.

Compatibility is a decision, not a disclaimer.

Is my chair worth repairing?+

Often when it is a quality chair, the frame is sound and a compatible field-replaceable component is available. We compare the likely repair with replacement value before scheduling.

Why does my office chair keep sinking?+

A failed gas cylinder is a common cause, but the symptom must be checked against the mechanism and chair configuration.

Can a gas cylinder be replaced?+

Yes, when a complete compatible rated cylinder and safe replacement procedure are available. We never drill, puncture, open or modify a cylinder.

Do you repair Herman Miller, Steelcase or Haworth?+

We review selected models. Brand alone does not confirm support, and PosteCare does not claim manufacturer authorization or affiliation.

Can you repair several chairs in one visit?+

Yes. A planned fleet repair day is the primary commercial offer: inventory, compatibility review, parts planning, onsite work and an exception record.

Do you repair standing desks?+

Only selected systems and bounded work: manufacturer reset procedures, mechanical alignment and approved matching complete-module swaps. Not every desk is supportable.

Do you bring the part?+

When compatibility and supply are confirmed, the goal is to plan the part before dispatch. Unknowns may require further documentation.

How do I find my model number?+

Photograph labels under the chair seat, on the mechanism, beneath the desk top, on the frame, controller or power module.

What if the part is unavailable?+

We say so. A parts-unavailable result is better than an avoidable visit or an improvised repair.
